The future isn't a faraway place. It's as near as tomorrow and it will affect us all. As energy consumption soars, how will we meet the demand? Fossil fuels are a finite resource that will gradually disappear. The natural replacement for this is sweeping freely around the earth - Wind. It is renewable, predictable and clean.
Climate change and energy security are two of the most significant challenges the world faces today and future generations will inherit tomorrow. watts as a responsible member of society, and as an energy consumer itself, have made a choice for positive change.
watts produces energy that is pure and simple. No CO2, no other greenhouse gasses, no hazardous waste left behind as a poisonous legacy for future generations. And, unlike coal and nuclear plants, it doesn’t consume huge amounts of water – which is itself becoming a scarce resource.
The Company set up a Wind Power Generator at Ramakalmedu in Idukki District of Kerala in 2008 having a capacity of 750KW and has been supplying electric power to the Kerala State Electricity Board since then. watts produces more electric power than it consumes and contributes to the renewable energy drive of the Govt. of India. By doing so, watts is now a Carbon Negative company and thereby helps in removal of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide from Earth's atmosphere.
The future isn't a faraway place and it can be a Greener One.
